San Carlos Park Fire Protection & Rescue Service District was at work early Sunday morning after a fire started when a vehicle reportedly crashed into a utility pole.

According to San Carlos Park Fire Protection & Rescue Service District, when crews arrived to the scene at 17245 Oriole Road, the fire spread throughout the engine and passenger sections of the car.

The fire had also spread to the utility pole itself.

Crews didn't know where the driver or other occupants were, so they began multiple searches while extinguishing the fire.

Crews put the fire out and found the driver of the car a little later. The driver didn't need medical attention.
