About $140,000 worth of electric equipment, including phones, was stolen from a North Canterbury store after four youths forced their way through the front doors.

The burglary happened at an appliance and technology store on High St in Rangiora about 4.35am on May 17.

Police searched a Christchurch house later that day and found a large amount of stolen property.

In statement released on Monday, police said they had identified two young people alleged to be involved and were appealing for information on two other offenders.
