The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has offered fans unparalleled creativity in the franchise, and fans have been hard at work.

Each release from The Legend of Zelda franchise encourages interesting theories and beautiful artwork from the gaming community. Tears of the Kingdom introduced a new inventive crafting system, allowing Link to fuse pieces from his environment, some mechanical, others constructive. Gamers quickly found imaginative, often hilarious, ways to use Link's abilities to build incredible creations.

It took no time for gamers to find ways to create and show off their incredible inventions. While some creations are absolutely genius, others have the gaming community wondering if they are witnessing war crimes against the Hylians. These epic inventions memorialize gamers’ favorite objects; they are works of art.

Less than 24 hours after Tears of the Kingdom‘s launch, Twitter user Zakuya figured out how to create, and subsequently destroy a giant wooden man. Using wooden slats, logs, and flame emitters allowed this player to light up the Hylian horizon with fireworks.

T5G shared a clip from leaked Tears of the Kingdom footage featuring another giant humanoid creation sporting a flaming phallus. It just goes to show that some things are inevitable, and if gamers can build it, they will.

3D animator Liz has extensive experience in animation and rigging. Finding engineering supplies in Tears of the Kingdom provided ample material for this artist to experiment with. Her Twitter feed is full of cool creations worth checking out, including a technically accurate engine.

Liz first created the basic engine using an assortment of wheels and construction supplies. The subsequent addition of halberds elevated her machine to a barbecue spit and, more importantly, a lethal weapon. Fans of creative gameplay shouldn't miss Liz's paddle boat, and the "big wheel," a mono-wheel cycle reminiscent of General Grievous' from the Star Wars universe.

Gamers love mixing worlds together – even if they don't seem to work on paper. Twitter user Adeesan took inspiration from the horror racer Twisted Metal when building their wild vehicle. Mounting lasers on each end of the chassis allows Link to dispose of a Hinox exceptionally fast.

Many other gamers have also designed amazing automobiles in Tears of the Kingdom. Rhyme mounted halberds to ensure maximum damage. TikTok user Reloxbett built Link an off-roading buggy with four-wheel drive and working suspension that can almost scale trees. AlfredotheImpasta built Link his Master Cycle, and Dreamonto created a neat-looking bokoglin bullying device.

Fans of Looney Tunes remember Wile E. Coyote relentlessly chasing the pesky Road Runner, utilizing Acme traps and gadgets to little effect. Tears of the Kingdom players have embraced the Acme style of trap construction, as well, setting up elaborate contraptions to defeat Hylian bad guys.

Euan Dewar created a hilarious slapstick device that bumps enemies off the map in the most ingenious and satisfying way. Twitter user Satougashi020 built an elaborate apparatus to lure a bokoblin to its death: as soon as the monster pulls a weapon from the mechanism, a giant crate comes crashing down on its head.

Many fans of Breath of the Wild are lamenting the absence of divine beasts in Tears of the Kingdom. Several players decided to build the beasts into the games themselves, doing their best with the supplies on hand.

Reddit user FaZe used a glider to build an iconic Vah Medoh and turned it into a laser-emitting gunship. Fellow Redditor flippingchicken "found" this beautifully artistic version of Vah Ruta. It appears the divine beasts have had a makeover since the last game!

Fans of The Legend of Zelda franchise know that bokoblins are a pain that never seems to go away. Twitter user Mad Polygon was tired of fighting these annoying packs of enemies and decided to take them out in one big bang. So he created a flying war machine.

Using fans, a hot-air balloon, and laser emitters, this genius gamer made quick work of clearing the final monster forces on the coast of Lurelin. All Link had to do was steer his balloon into position and rain arrows and bombs down on his enemies, leaving easy loot behind. Link's run as a sky pirate looks fun and effortlessly cool.

Reddit user 0KdQ6 shared this clip of an orbital strike laser cannon. Clearly, it is the only way to defeat the enemies of Hyrule. This gamer used a Zonai rocket to launch their satellite into the sky. When the rocket despawns, a hover stone maintains positions, locking lasers in place long enough to destroy any enemy in Tears of the Kingdom.

Using similar technology, gamers have been creating drone drop-ships. Eliza improved an online tutorial to create a combat drone with flame shooters. This gamer notes the trickiness of these builds and the precision that must be utilized when connecting Zonai pieces. Making small changes, like flipping stakes 180 degrees, similar to Eliza, can improve the durability of machines, making the playthrough much easier.

Reddit user Bishlo built a manually operated multistage rocket using interlocking log beams. Propelling Link high into the night sky, this rocket was merely the beginning of the Korok Space Program. Many more rockets would soar the skies of Hyrule after this prototype launched.

Agent Dajo went with a lower budget in his approach to the Hylian rocket program. He chose to use four springs and base supports to, quite literally, launch a korok across the map. Clearly, Hyrule is in excellent hands.

Gamers have often wished for a good ol' fashioned gun to take out Ganon. A beam rifle would certainly make the fight a lot easier. Twitter user Uran120 not only agrees with the sentiment, but went further, building an in-game rifle and deploying it for destruction.

This player mounted the gun on a platform, which Link lifts and aims with his ultrahand abilities. Looking at Uran120's Twitter feed shows the inventive engineer pushing Hyrule into a new technological era. They have also built a giant fire-shooting hand, a Gundam battleship, and Star Wars' Death Star.

Legend of Zelda fans never expected Tears of the Kingdom to feature orbital laser-equipped satellites, bomb-laden fighter jets, or battle-ready mechs. Once gamers realized the pieces were available for use, they built the ultimate masterpieces to protect Hyrule.

YouTuber SoulBanana launched Link into orbit with their magnificent Macross Frontiers build. This gamer used every Zonai item at his disposal to create a Valkyrie-style mech. As if that wasn't cool enough, SoulBanana built Link a giant magical sword and the amazing mech of Mado King Granzort. Hyrule has never been safer!
