Eaton's Power Xpert UX™ IEC high-voltage switchgear system is best placed to provide the right equipment for the most demanding applications.

A high-performance solution for power distribution, the Power Xpert UX features a global design certified to the latest IEC 62271-100 and IEC 62271-200 standards.

It's a fully scalable system, enabling users to create an optimised high-voltage switchgear solution with fully IEC type tested ratings up to 50kA/4000A.

Power Xpert UX offers a complete range of panels up to 4000 A, 50 kA-3s short circuit withstand, and 50 kA-1s AFLR internal arc classification. The compact UX design is based on Eaton's leadership vacuum technology and is available in three-panel widths (600mm, 800mm, and 1000mm), three depths (1320mm, 1520mm, and 1770mm) and three system voltages (12, 17.5, 24 kV).

Eaton's latest vacuum circuit breaker, the W-VACi, lies at the heart of Power Xpert UX. The W-VACi, with its advanced vacuum interrupter contact designs, yields longer life in a class-leading compact design.

Eaton's Power Xpert UX focuses on safety, with a comprehensive and logical list of mechanical and electrical interlocks. Compartments are protected against penetration by outside objects.

Reliability is key in solutions of this nature, and the Eaton Power Xpert UX features vacuum and cast-resin encapsulation technologies and a totally enclosed and insulated main busbar. Users can expect 10,000 operations as standard, 20,000 operations on special request for the W-VACi circuit breakers.

Power Xpert UX offers a 30 year expected product life, and offers cable access front and rear, and cable entry at the bottom and top. The system is SF6-free, and has low end of life disposable costs, with all materials being re-usable, or eligible for recycling.
